Terms of Use

Vita Mendriķe, Reg. No. 05077012273, Jātnieku Street 46A, Daugavpils, hereinafter – the online store – provides the content available on the website and supplies goods/services in accordance with the Terms of Use set out below.

1. General Terms

If the consumer purchases goods/services through the website, such mutual agreement is considered a Distance Contract and is subject to the laws of the Republic of Latvia regulating distance contracts, including but not limited to the “Consumer Rights Protection Law” of the Republic of Latvia, the Cabinet of Ministers regulations “Regulations on Distance Contracts” and others.

2. Making Purchases

The prices and specifications of products sold in the online store are indicated next to the products.

To place an order, add the desired products to the shopping cart. Fill in all required fields and select the most suitable delivery method. The total cost of the order with delivery will then be displayed on the screen. Make payment to complete the order.

3. Payment Terms

The currency for settlements on the website is euro. Purchases can be paid for by choosing the following payment methods provided by the payment platform makecommerce.lv, Maksekeskus AS:

  • Latvian internet bank payments: Swedbank, SEB, Citadele, and Luminor
  • Estonian internet bank payments: Swedbank, SEB, Luminor
  • Lithuanian internet bank payments: Swedbank, SEB, and Luminor
  • Finnish internet bank payments: Aktia, Ålandsbanken, Danske, Handelsbanken, Nordea, Oma Säästopankki, Pohjola, POP Pankki, S-Pankki, Säästopankki
  • Visa/Mastercard card payments

When using the internet bank payment method, confirm the order and click on the “Return to merchant” button.

Personal data necessary for making payments is transferred to the licensed payment institution Maksekeskus AS.

The contract enters into force upon successful payment to the online store's bank account. If, for any reason, it is not possible to fulfill the order, the Buyer will be informed and the paid amount will be refunded as soon as possible, but no later than within 14 days after receiving the notification.

4. Delivery Terms

Goods are delivered to all countries worldwide where delivery partners offer services. Purchased goods are delivered using: parcel delivery partners, courier services, and our personal delivery in specified cities. All duties and taxes that must be paid to receive the shipment at the delivery destination must be covered by the Buyer. Delivery costs are shown before order confirmation. Purchased goods are delivered to the address specified by the Buyer: in Latvia within 1 - 5 business days; abroad within 2 - 10 business days. In exceptional cases, we reserve the right to send goods within up to 14 calendar days, informing the customer accordingly.

5. Right of Withdrawal

  • The Buyer can return the product only if the seller has made a mistake and incorrect honey or other products have been sent in the order. 
  • Returns are possible only if the product is not damaged, has not been opened, and the original packaging is preserved. 
  • The client must inform about the non-conformity in the order within 14 days from the moment of receiving the product.
  • Return procedure The Buyer must contact us by email or messaging platform, indicating the order number and a description of the error. Photos of the received products must be attached to confirm the non-conformity. After confirmation of the error, we will offer a product exchange or a refund. 
  • If the error was made by the seller, we will cover the return shipping costs. The client must return the product in the most convenient way, after prior agreement with the seller.  
  • Refunds are made within 14 days after receiving the returned product. 
  • If the client chooses a product exchange, the value of the exchanged products cannot be less than the originally ordered amount, and shipping is carried out as soon as possible at the seller's expense.

6. Processing of Buyer's Personal Data

The online store processes only those personal data that the buyer has entered when ordering goods, such as name, surname, email, etc.

The online store transfers personal data to the transport service provider(s) to ensure delivery of goods.

If you have explicitly agreed to receive our marketing messages, including news, we may occasionally contact you by sending information about our services and the latest offers. For this purpose, we may process your email address provided when subscribing to marketing communications. The buyer has the option to opt out of marketing messages by notifying us at [email protected]

7. Dispute Resolution Procedure

In matters not covered by these terms and conditions, the Buyer and Seller undertake to comply with the regulatory enactments in force in the Republic of Latvia.

The parties resolve all disputes arising between the Seller and the Buyer through mutual negotiations or correspondence. If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiations or correspondence, the parties will resolve the dispute in the court of the Republic of Latvia, observing the regulatory enactments of the Republic of Latvia.
